Mawlid refers to the blessed arrival of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ into this world, whereas Seerah represents the very purpose and mission of that arrival the mission that transformed and refined humanity. Shaykh ul Islam further elaborates on the profound scholarly point that the Holy Quran was revealed upon the blessed heart of the Prophet ﷺ and became absorbed into his noble being, manifesting itself in the form of his Seerah. For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ is described as the "embodied Quran" and the living, walking expression of the Quranic message. The lecture also highlights the virtue and sanctity of the soil of the Rawdah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Riyad al Jannah. Drawing upon the statements of the great Imams and Hadith scholars, it is established that the portion of the earth touched by the blessed body of the Prophet ﷺ is superior in excellence to the Kabah, the Exalted Throne, the Divine Footstool, and even the Preserved Lawh and Qalam.
