BSI IFE Webinar Series Competence for the fire safety professional

The tragic events that occurred at Grenfell Tower in June 2017 and the subsequent Public Inquiry reveals the shocking truth about competence, or rather the lack of it, right across the construction sector. And what’s worse, it reveals how we all became accepting of this state of affairs. As a professional engineer or fire risk assessor, being able to demonstrate your competence has never been more important. The Institution of Fire Engineers believes that professional registration is the best way of doing so for fire safety practitioners. This webinar explores the competence landscape, outlines the options for fire safety professionals, and discusses the third-party enhancements that have been introduced, or a planned to be introduced soon.
