Carefully preserved from archival recordings, it captures the warmth and spontaneity of a live ghazal presentation. While Fayyaz Hashmi is widely remembered for his timeless film songs, his ghazals have rarely been rendered in the ghazal mehfil tradition. This recording is one such rare piece from my personal collection. No original video exists for this performance.
