In this off-grid homestead vlog, I wake up to a freeze, ease into a cozy morning, and then get to work finishing the siding on my studio. I do enough chinking to build a wood rack so my firewood stays dry before the storm hits. Also, COW UPDATE! They are coming back, but there's some good news that saves me lots of work. Keeping firewood dry is one of the biggest fall jobs for this season, and this week that meant getting the siding and chinking done fast enough to protect the wood. I also check on my antelope hide that I've been bark tanning for a few weeks now, and troubleshoot a few problems so it can still undergo important changes while I travel away for the week. Turns out, we got a lot of flooding shortly after this was filmed. The last two weeks have been full of winter prep out here, and I'm so grateful for all that I got buttoned up. #offgridhomestead #homesteading #barktanning #offgridliving #homesteadvlog
