Own Characters (OC) and Own Designs: Is it Cosplay?

It's Ketchup with Kirilee time! At conventions you'll see own characters (OCs) and own designs of characters walking around - I LOVE THESE! I think the creativity is fabulous! However, when they are entered into cosplay comps, they don't always get the love they deserve, especially OCs, because the framework to assess it against is not as defined as a character taken straight from a movie or anime etc. But let's take a moment to celebrate the cosplayers who let their creativity run wild!
