This video captures the trek from Naddi to Guna Devi Mandir. The start of trek from Naddi Village to the river bed is a easy walk which takes about 20 minutes. At the river point, there is a narrow bridge with some shops selling tea and snacks. The ascent start from this point and the path is well paved steps. The entire trek takes around a couple of hours one way from start (Naddi) to finish (Guna Mata Mandir). Things to be aware of - 1. The climb is moderate to easy but the path is narrow with steep valley along sides. 2. Carry some food and water. Although there are shops around the river point and near the temple, they can be closed too. 3. Carry some warm clothes, the weather can change quickly even if it is warm at the beginning. 4. Don't take the return journey lightly. Be aware that coming down can sometime be more difficult than climbing up. 5. PLEASE DO NOT LITTER. And try not to use the dustbins along the trail. Most of the waste in these bins ends up in the valley so carry it back in your bag and dispose it in Naddi or wherever you are starting this trek from.
