How Khanpur incident transpired ? Who testified against Poohla & his men in court ?

In this video Ritesh Lakhi narrates a rather unheard of account of a family which faced Nihang Ajit Singh Poohla and his men in the year 1991. The family of Bachan Singh of Khanpur village in Beas Police area saw excesses perpetrated by unleashed Ajit Singh Poohla on the night intervening May 31 and June 1. As Bachan Singh and his family were targetted in late hours, Ranjit Singh the youngest of Bachan Singh's son managed to escape to only return few hours later and witness the devastation caused. As many as seven people of Bachan Singh's family including Bachan Singh himself lost their lives and what was left for younger son Ranjit and on the run elder son Joga Singh was further years of harassment and nomadic life running away from Poohla and his men. The matter was further taken up years later as a strong movement of ex servicemen began against the excesses being committed by Poohla and his men and the Khanpur incident came to haunt Poohla decades later to finally have him incarcerated in Jail, his last place before he was neutralized in the jail itself.
