WE CAME HOME! From all over Nigeria to the UK, France, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Africa, and across Europe and Asia, sons and daughters of Iwere came together in Warri for the inaugural Itsekiri Global Homecoming, held from August 16–22, 2026, alongside the 5th Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty, Ògíamè Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri. This documentary captures a historic week of culture, heritage, royalty, and community. From the Palace and Heritage Market to the sacred Ijala Royal Cemetery, where the king never dies, to the Cultural Fair, the Itsekiri Development Forum, and the spectacular Royal Boat Regatta, where we danced on water.
