Now it's time to put it through its paces. This high gain behemoth is worthy of the title "Uber," that's for sure. With seven gain stages, built-in boost, two high-gain channels, two crunch channels and a clean channel, it leaves little to be desired from the discerning player. It features a unique mid character and that signature Bogner "bounce" that makes notes fly off the fretboard with ease. Articulate and crushing, the Ultra has bridged the gap between the Sodano's and Diezel of my collection with the old-school Marshall. What a terrific piece of kit, and it is here to STAY.
