It has a Pallavi, anupallavi and charanam. The poetry is catchy and lively therefore, the language used is ordinary and colloquial. Majority of the javalis are written in Telugu with Kannada a close second.  Javalis talk about love that is worldly, involving human relationships where the character craves for the love of a person with worldly desires. Similarly, in this javali Mathada baradeno, the nayika or the heroine asks her lord, the nayaka why he refuses to talk to her, why he's holding in all his love for her in his heart but not conversing with her, showing it to her. The situation is far from serious and is more along the lines of playful banter between the two and the nayika is determined to make him talk. The various ways with which she tackles the situation is what is portrayed in this javali.
