The 17.03 Scarborough to Sheffield (18.44) train followed by the 15.30 Edinburgh to London (19.52) and the 16.30 London to Edinburgh (21.14) trains passing over the crossing at the same time. Remarkable how often that happens. The wait here was actually 8 minutes but 4 minutes, 15 seconds have been cut. This crossing is also known as Daw Lane. The next level crossing on the east coast main line northwards, Thorpe, has recently gone as the line there has been raised on an ugly flyover.
