💃Anichi & His Girls | Salsa on 2 Musicality Demo | BIG3 Hamburg

Experience a masterclass in collective timing and stage presence. At the BIG3 Festival 2026, Anichi leads an elite group of dancers in a demonstration that bridges the gap between solo expression and team precision. This performance is a deep dive into the "Soul of Salsa," where every dancer acts as a different rhythmic layer of the music. While Anichi anchors the performance with his signature grounded "Sabor," the ladies bring a sophisticated blend of Mambo On1/On2 styling and Afro-Cuban body movement. The choreography highlights the dialogue between the instruments—the ladies might mirror the fluid melody of the violins or piano, while Anichi accents the sharp breaks of the percussion. It is a visual representation of a live band, showcasing how to maintain individual "flavor" while staying perfectly synchronized as a unit. 🎹 Highlights of the Demo: Group Syncopation: Watch the seamless transitions where the entire group hits the "Cierre" (the musical wrap-up) with pinpoint accuracy. Feminine Styling & Power: The dancers demonstrate how to incorporate high-level body isolations and arm work without losing the speed of the Mambo footwork. Spatial Geometry: See how the group uses the stage to create visual "textures" that reflect the rising and falling energy of the track. The "Call and Response": A beautiful display of the dancers reacting to one another and the music in real-time, embodying the social heart of Salsa. 📢 Celebrate the Rhythm Anichi and his team prove that musicality is a shared experience.
