Cyclone Arnab Latest Update: Severe Cyclone Arnab continues to remain nearly stationary over the west-central Bay of Bengal near the Andhra Pradesh and Yanam coasts. According to the information provided, the system may cross Odisha between 12 PM and 1 PM, with sustained winds of 60–70 kmph and gusts reaching up to 80 kmph. Rainfall and gusty winds are also expected to increase in Bhubaneswar. The cyclone's centre is reportedly located around 30 km east of Narsapur, 45 km south-southwest of Yanam, and 70 km from Kakinada. Winds near the cyclone's centre are estimated at 115–125 kmph, with gusts up to 140 kmph. Heavy rain continues in Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam districts. The landfall process may continue for another 2–3 hours as the cyclone remains nearly stationary.
