Elysium Extraction Process made easy.. with Raptors!

In this video I will walk you through the entire extraction process for raw uranium on Elysium - what's needed to drill for the uranium, process it, and the recommended armor, weapons, and other supplies you should bring with you. You'll see how effective pet Raptors are with dealing with the radiation biome creatures. Finally, I'll breakdown what you'll receive after processing the uranium, and the effective steps you should take to deal with the radiation effects afterwards. Needed/Recommended Supplies: Uranium Extraction Unit – which is needed to drill for the raw uranium (Tier 5 device) [Need] Nuclear Centrifuge – you’ll need this to process the raw uranium (Tier 5 Device) [Need] Hazmat Suit – Gives you the best radiation and exposure resistance protection, but very low melee and heat protection. You’ll also need to have completed Elysium’s Nexus mission to unlock it (Tier 3 armor). [Need] OR Containment Armor – While not as efficient for radiation and exposure, gives you much better melee and heat resistance (Tier 5 armor). [Need] Anti-Radiation Transfusion medicine – helps keep the radiation from rising as rapidly (4 or more). Make more if needed after you’ve left the radiation site to combat further radiation poisoning or use Anti-Radiation tonics after active radiation is no longer a threat. [Need} Electric Power Source - that will provide at least 1,500 units of power for the extraction device (I recommend a solar panel). [Need] Electricity Tool - to connect power to the Extraction Device. [Need] 1x1 Shelter (stone or above) – Keeps the Advanced Battery Pack and the bedroll safe, with the power device being mounted on the roof. Place the shelter relatively near (but outside) the radiation zone that you’re drilling in. [Recommended] Advanced Battery Pack – Ensures if your drilling spills into nighttime, you’ll still have power running to the Extraction Unit – place it in the 1x1 shelter. [Recommended] Bedroll – Use as a spawn point near the Radiation site in case of death and a respawn is needed – place it in the 1x1 shelter. [Recommended] Vitamins – Take one before you head out. It helps with exposure resistance and also with avoiding basic wounds. [Recommended] Health Recovery Elixirs – Helps keep your HP up if dropped due to battle damage (3 should suffice) [Recommended] Sutures & Basic bandages – heals you from basic and deep wounds (3 each should suffice) [Recommended] **If bringing pets**: o Food and Water for them. Give them both just before the drilling starts as once those decrease levels on them, they eventually will not perform as well [Recommended] Weapons/Ammo/Backpack choice: Assault Rifle – with 200 rounds of obsidian ammo Hunting/Kinetic Rifle – with 100 rounds of obsidian ammo Handgun – with 100 rounds of obsidian ammo Lithium knife with Electroshock attachment -Ion Backpack – for the chance to cause electroshock damage with your weapons **All weapons and ammo are needed - the weapon choice, ammo type, and backpack is recommended. ** Nice to have (not needed for drilling process): Uranium Locator Device – Provides you with the ability to track/scan for active uranium nodes for drilling. Nuclear Reactor – Gives you 100,00 units of power when connected to your network. Its equivalent output is slightly better than 16+ solar panels.
