Greg Horne - Stay All Night & Little Dutch Girl (old time fiddle)

Here I am playing a couple of Appalachian fiddle tunes. I'm from Knoxville, and I've learned most of my fiddling here in East Tennessee. I love to listen to fiddling from North Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky, and all around the South. "Stay All Night" comes from Tommy Jarrell and the Round Peak style. I go back and forth between fiddling and songwriting. Check out my other videos to hear some of my songs. This video was recorded at the Jammin at Hippie Jack's Americana music festival, on a beautiful and hot Labor Day, 2007. The festival is held every Memorial Day (and sometimes more often) in Crawford, TN on the Cumberland Plateau. Produced, shot and directed by Jack and Jason Stoddart. This performance is available on DVD "Greg Horne Live at Hippie Jacks."
