Welcome to my N scale Kate track setup Three years in the making Enjoy the video and professional photography Buildings were 3d printed and painted Landscape materials were from woodland scenics mountains created using thick insulation foam and a ton of craft glue. Shaped and cut using wire hot foam cutter. “Water” was made using tissue paper, water down Elmer’s glue and mod podge for waves effect. Water colors were painted as well to give water illusion of depth. Buildings: abandoned block buster, Diner, Hess gas station, homes, fire house, Trees were created using adhesive craft glue on armatures from woodland scenics and used small pieces of foam for leaves also from woodland scenics brand. Tedius but it completes the layout project. Two bridges were repainted to look older and rusted in some spots. The White sections you see on layout are sheets of plaster. You water down the plaster sheet and it hardens as it air dries. Give about 24 hours before painting with acrylic paint. Makes landscape easier to form. Place on top of foam or building materials. Grass was sprinkled on top of manually placed watered down glue. I was aiming for a country mountain scenic look with no specific location. Could consider Pennsylvania or North Carolina.
