Ape Escape 3 "Morphs Only" [Part 40 - Space TV Fortress MAX]

This is a challenge run I made up and did a playthrough on. This is done on official ps2 hardware, but most of the skips and glitches I've managed to do on emulator as well. RULES: The run is a success if you can reach the first credits w/o breaking a rule You MUST be in a morph to move around or make any other progress Use the all morph unlock cheat code before starting the run While not morphed, you may not move or even attack (or summon the RC Car) to defend yourself. Using the radar for recon is fine while unmorphed. Stun Club, Get Net, Sky Flyer, Super Hoop are strictly banned Getting in water is not allowed at all. Does not end the run. Merely exit the stage if you get submerged and de-morph as a result. "Conveyors" are not allowed if you're unmorphed. A conveyer here is loosely defined as anything you stand on that makes you move in a significant way to make progress through a level/obstacle Staying in a vehicle as long as you want is allowed Gadgets are allowed if they're used exclusively for a puzzle in a safe area AND if you do not move yourself while doing so. This, while not being a run killer imo, is not ideal and should be kept track of how often this happens ---------------------------------------------------------------------- STUDIO 2 The whole reason why i even picked the girl (Yumi) over the boy (Kei) was because the gun net clip i perform to catch the monkey in the conch shell can only be done by Yumi. Apparently her Wild West Kid net gun has a longer barrel than Kei's. So this is the only glitch I'm aware of that is Yumi exclusive and it's in the FINAL level of the game. The wall clip I do on the glass dome is something I found in speed runs. It can be done with normal Yumi/Kei, and most morphs. I think the only Morph that can't do it is Miracle Ninja due to running too fast. So for once it's an obsticle that can be surpassed by any morph EXCEPT Miracle Ninja, despite how OP that Morph is. STUDIO 1 I saved this one for last because it had the final obstacle I had discovered a way to get past and also requires a gadget use. The RC Car Puzzle gate keeps TWELVE monkeys, including the final Cheat Code Monkey AND the last Pipo Camera recording. So I was a bit miffed i couldn't get through at first. The route I took is obvious in the video, but basically I found a way to not move during a non-morph period but jumping in just the right spot for me to be as close as possible to the metal door and also have the RC car on the roof of the puzzle itself. The RC Car vanishes everytime you Morph, so you have to get through the door asap as it closes due to the button no longer being pressed. Slight Shot Uses: 2 RC Car Uses: 3
