Last Letter Home, by Lee Hoiby

Portland, Oregon's Resonance Ensemble performs Lee Hoiby's "Last Letter Home," with the haunting text of Private Jesse Givens's letter from Iraq to his family, to be opened in the case of his death. Sadly, Givens did not survive, and this letter to his family remains in a beautiful musical setting. Concert of February 5, 2011, conducted by Katherine FitzGibbon.
