Dr. Wilner would love your feedback! Click here to send a text! Thanks! (https://www.buzzsprout.com/945151/fan...) Many thanks to Michael Myers, MD, for joining me on Episode #174 of The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner. (http://www.andrewwilner.com/) Dr. Myers is a recently retired family physician and author of The Vaccine Bible: A Comprehensive, Commonsense Guide to What Keeps Us Safe from the Flu, Measles, Hepatitis, and More. (https://amzn.to/4g4AB47) During our 30-minute discussion, Dr. Myers and I discussed the history of vaccines, their proven efficacy, and the incomprehensible position of anti-vaccers. While not a vaccine expert, Dr. Myers has extensive experience communicating health information to patients. He considers vaccines one of the greatest achievements of modern society. Dr. Myers speculated that vaccines have been so successful in eliminating scourges such as smallpox and polio that many laypeople no longer appreciate the morbidity and lethality of infectious diseases. Even measles, mumps and chickenpox can cause serious suffering and complications. Dr. Myers explained that The Vaccine Bible (https://amzn.to/4guvScz) offers reliable vaccine information and how they combat not only common childhood diseases but serious infections such as COVID-19, rabies, and smallpox.
