BU SHA's 2021 virtual Hospitality Leadership Summit features a keynote address from Global Travel Connoisseur, Peter Greenberg, followed by the presentation of SHA’s 2nd Icon Award to industry pioneer Danny Meyer. Peter Greenberg is a multiple Emmy-winning investigative reporter and producer. Known in the travel industry as the travel detective, he is the travel editor for everything CBS appearing on multiple shows—CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News, and CBS Sunday Morning. Travel Weekly has named Peter one of the most influential people in travel long with Bill Marriott and Sir Richard Branson. Danny Meyer, the Icon Award receiver, has set industry standards in hiring practices, innovative leadership, and corporate responsibility. Danny has been recognized for his leadership, business achievements, and humanitarianism, including winning the 2017 Julia Child award and being named to the Times 100 Most Influential People list.
