Cali Honours African Heritage

The 30th edition of the Petronio Álvarez Festival has launched in Cali with the 'Bundeando pa' la Casa Grande' parade, uniting more than 1,600 participants and featuring a winning float from the Blacks and Whites' Carnival, as over 3,500 artists gather to celebrate Afro-Colombian music, dance and culture until 17 August.
