Zablon talks about International Deaf Awareness Week

InBusiness Initiative by Light for the World, is established to economically empower communities of people with disabilities through inclusive collaborations. With generous support from Inclusive Futures by UK Aid, Argidius Foundation, Standard Chartered Bank and others. On the occasion of International Deaf Awareness Week 2020, we are making an effort to recognize and appreciate the Deaf, and promote the use of Sign Language by everyone. Zablon Kengara, who is an accountant at Light for the World in Kenya, is very passionate about inclusion of the Deaf in the mainstream society. Deaf himself, he gives a perspective and opinion from the Deaf community - an appeal for everyone to learn Kenyan Sign Language, so that both the hearing and the Deaf can communicate easily. InBusiness Initiative has taken a step towards "Inclusion for all", by making basic Kenyan Sign Language tutorials.
