CorteX GT vs GT350R

We did a lead a follow at Sonoma Raceway with our CorteX 2015 GT Mustang just after receiving our GT350R. There was a little bit of moisture on the track from the previous day's rain. We swapped driver later and had the same results. Hands down, the CorteX GT was more composed, was easier to drive, and had better grip. The GT had a CAI and a tune making about 395 whp. You can see for yourself that is puts power down off corner so much better that the extra 70 hp the GT350R has could not make up the difference at the end of the straights. Upgrade to the GT totaled about $12,000 including the JRi double adjustable coilovers, anti roll bars, spherical bearings for the suspension, wheels, tires, and MGW shifter. The GT350R was upgraded with HRE 19x11 wheels and 305/30/19 Nitto NT01 tires. Used GTs are now selling for low $30K which means this level of performance is available for under $45K total investment.
