B6 Slim 사이즈 노트 2~3권을 넣을 수 있도록 크기를 잡고, 가죽 재단부터 모서리 다듬기, 고무밴드 구멍 뚫기, 밴드와 장식 달기까지 직접 작업했습니다. 제대로 된 가죽 커버를 만드는 건 이번이 처음이라 직각을 맞추는 데 시간을 많이 쓰기도 하고, 토코놀도 처음 사용해 봤는데, 가죽 겉면에 조금 묻기도 했답니다. 그래도 직접 사용할 커버를 완성하니 뿌듯하고 마음에 들어요. 😊 이번 영상에서는 가죽 커버를 만들어 가는 전체 과정을 기록하는 데 집중했어요. 토코놀을 바르는 과정은 이번 영상에 담지 못했는데요. *다음 영상에서는 송곳이 아닌 가죽펀치로 구멍을 뚫는 과정과 토코놀을 바르는 모습을 조금 더 자세히 보여드릴게요.* 가죽 공예라기에는 너무 부끄럽지만, 어찌되었건 가죽원단으로 무언가를 해보는 건 처음이여서 좋았답니다! 조용한 음악과 함께하는 가죽 공예 기록, 편안하게 감상해 주세요. 시청해 주셔서 감사합니다. 다음 만들기 영상에서 만나요! 🧵 --- 📔 *Making a Traveler’s Notebook-Style Leather Cover | DIY Leather Cover* This time, I made a Traveler’s Notebook-style leather cover using a piece of A4-sized vegetable-tanned leather. I planned the size to fit two or three B6 Slim notebooks and worked on every step myself, from cutting the leather and shaping the corners to making holes for the elastic bands and adding the bands and a charm. This was my first time making a proper leather cover, so I spent quite a bit of time trying to get the corners square. I also tried Tokonole for the first time, and a little got onto the outer surface of the leather. Still, I’m happy and proud to have made a cover that I can use myself. 😊 In this video, I focused on documenting the overall process of making the leather cover. I didn’t film the Tokonole application process for this video. *In the next video, I’ll show you in more detail how to make the holes using a leather hole punch instead of an awl, as well as how to apply Tokonole.* I’m still a little embarrassed to call what I’m doing leathercraft, but this was my first time making something out of leather, and I really enjoyed the experience!
