Henry Ford Genesys Hospital Grand Blanc, MI

This is an interesting looking hospital. I was visiting my grandpa there, who was 92. He passed away shortly after I recorded this. I just thought that the architecture was quite good, surprisingly good for modern architecture. This was opened in 1997 as the Genesys regional Medical Center. It was built to replace the older Saint Joseph's Hospital in Flint Michigan, which was closed in 1997 and torn down in 2000. Several years ago it was bought out by the Ascension health. Recently, the Henry Ford health system bought the hospital with the agreement that still be ran as a Catholic Christian hospital.
