Free Day In Como & Brunate Italy

We decided to do our own thing on this date of the trip rather than take a bus to another lake besides Lake Como. We had traveled on a boat down lake Como the day before and visited Bellagio so we figured why take another boat trip two days in a row. We decided to walk down to the Como/Brunate Funicular and take that cable rail car ride to the top of the mountain overlooking Como and Lake Como where we could enjoy the mountain top village of Brunate. We loved the views, the buildings, the trails and the wonderful restaurant overlooking beautiful Lake Como. We came down and continued to enjoy Como as we walked back to Hotel Como. What a great day with great new friends. Then we discovered our trip the next day to Lake Lugano Switzerland included a ride on another Funicular to the top of a mountain overlooking Lake Lugano and the City of Lugano. Oh well, we did enjoy doing our own thing anyway.
