Vintage Home Movies Converted to DVD----Here we see a second clip of an afternoon watching the ex- O. Roy Chalk DC Transit # 6718 (Bladensburg Division) on a return trip from P.G. Hospital to Langley Park (Route F-8), as well as the ex-WV&M Coach Company #2608 (Northern Division) operating as the rush hour return trip from New Carrollton to Silver Spring (Route F-4). The DCT 6700s were the first TDH-5304 series in DC with RARE hard fiberglass seating. The 1920s jazz captures the mood of the busy PG Plaza stop (pre-Metrorail green line era). This is when buses came into the plaza and stopped behind Hot Shoppes Cafeteria at the G.C. Murphy Co. 5 & 10 Store (another long gone piece of nostalgia).
