The ES Replacement System is a complete pickup and preamp upgrade designed for players who love their Taylor acoustically but are dissatisfied with its amplified sound. It replaces the factory Taylor Expression System electronics with a Go Acoustic Audio Saddle-Pickup, six individual string-balance controls, an onboard microphone, tone control, internal mid-contour adjustment, and a strong active output. The installation process includes: • Removing the original Taylor ES components • Preparing the guitar for installation • Using the supplied drill guide and 2.8 mm drill bit • Installing the Go Acoustic Audio Saddle-Pickup • Routing and connecting the pickup cables • Installing the replacement preamp and controls • Temporarily mounting the preamp for adjustment • Balancing all six strings individually • Adjusting the internal mid contour • Blending the onboard microphone • Completing the final installation Installation requires two small, guided cable-access holes in the bottom of the saddle slot.
