1990s Whittaker Brothers Coin Operated Van Kiddie Ride - Jazz Van

Filmed at Humber Pastimes Amusements, Cleethorpes on September 26th 2021. The Jazz Van was originally a white and pink vehicle with a musical theme, manufactured by Whittaker Brothers and released in the 1990s. The van came in one or two-seater versions, with or without a dalmatian figurine "passenger" on one of the seats. The ride played "Pookie Doodle Puppy" when in motion, and there were three push buttons for additional sound effects. As with many other Whittaker Brothers rides, the van's colours were updated a couple of times around the turn of the 21st century to give it a slightly more modern look. This is one of those versions. Having been part of our sister channel Skylark24 since 2010, The History of Coin Operated Rides finally has its own YouTube channel!
