Day 5 of the Tyreek Hill civil trial. The defense puts on the records made at the time: three police officers who answered three calls, a deposition read to the jury, and the couple's counselor. Each time, the plaintiff's cross asks what the record left out. In the middle of it, the judge stops a defense lawyer in front of the jury. Keeta Vaccaro Hill is suing Tyreek Hill in a Florida civil courtroom over eight incidents she says happened behind closed doors during their 18-month marriage. He denies every one. These are allegations, not findings: the jury decides whether she has proven her claims by the greater weight of the evidence. --- KEY MOMENTS 0:00 What this video is, and a preview 0:18 Video starts: Top Moment 1. Officer Cuellar, on direct and then on cross. Why he made no arrest: both of them agreed it never became physical. On cross he agrees he saw a mark on her "at some point," and asked whether a mark like that is evidence of physical contact, he answers, "Yes and no." His report says there was no physical contact. It made the five because it is the defense's theme for the day in its first witness, and the first place the plaintiff pushes back. 12:58 Top Moment 2. Officer Laguna, by remote video, on a different call. She says she saw "only a small pimple above her lip." Why no arrest? "Because I could not prove that Mr. Hill committed a crime." She also tells the jury what Keeta Hill did say to her, about being "bullied, threatened, and verbally abused." The cross brings the call down to one question: whether he flicked a cigar toward her or put it in her face. It made the five because a second officer explains a second decision not to arrest, and the cross gets her to agree on the one fact in dispute. 25:51 Top Moment 3. Officer Levy of the Orlando police, by remote video, on a call to a hotel. He says nothing in the room suggested a struggle, and that she told him she wanted the incident "documented for her divorce." The cross goes to his paperwork. His recorded phone call with Tyreek Hill is not in the report. Was it not relevant? "It was relevant." Then the second report, written eight days later, with details the first did not have. It made the five because the defense's motive point and the plaintiff's sharpest answer to it sit back to back. 37:50 Top Moment 4. A deposition about a hotel call on January 21, 2024 is being read to the jury when Judge Spencer Eig stops it and addresses one of Tyreek Hill's lawyers for "shouting from the back of a courtroom." "It's not appropriate behavior." The judge then calls a sidebar, which the feed carried without sound and which is left out here. It made the five because it is the one moment of the day about the courtroom itself, in front of the jury. 46:50 Top Moment 5. Andrea McPhatter, a licensed mental health counselor who saw the couple. On direct she answers "No" again and again: Keeta Hill never told her of the allegations. Then the cross. Did she decide whether any of it happened? "I did not make a determination of that, correct." Could the way Keeta Hill presented make reporting difficult? "There could be a correlation." It made the five because both sides got an answer they wanted from the same witness. 1:00:16 End card: Day 4 Top Moments. CASE BACKGROUND REPORT: Lakeeta Hill v. Tyreek Hill. A civil jury trial in Miami-Dade County Circuit Court, Florida, which opened on October 6, 2026. Keeta Vaccaro Hill is suing her husband, former NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill, for money damages over eight allegations from their marriage, and he denies every one of them. This is a civil case: Tyreek Hill is not charged with any crime here, the plaintiff must prove each claim by the greater weight of the evidence, and the allegations are not findings unless the jury makes them. A full written case background report is in progress. LATEST ARTICLE: https://justiceisaprocess.com/desk-20...
