1965 datsun roadster fairlady 1500 spl310 Restoration

the owner wanted a full frame off restoration performed took over 2yrs to complete. lots of body damage located in the front from it hitting a power box back in the early 70s. the bondo was thick. the fenders were saved along with the hood. the amount of bondo reapplied to straighten the car out was minimal, mostly hand and dolly on the fenders, some rot was in the front fenders also. lower rockers both sides had to be replaced. this is a 3 main 1500 twin carb engine which is the original to the car numbers matching, the car was parked in 1985 due to faulty brakes. i wish i had pictures of when we removed this car from the garage stuff piled on it didnt even look like a car was there. engine was rebuilt, new clutch and brake hardware and lines. New leather interior installed also. stock light blue color resprayed on it also. this is also a positive grounding car also. they changed to neg grounding in 1966. only 1200 of these were made. less then 750 are still known to in existence and fewer then 250 are known in the usa. the car only has 75k total.
