Syracuse v Hobart lacrosse 1987

A great example of 1980's lacrosse, and this one is a barnburner You see Zulberti and Gilliam starting the dive trend. Great takeaways with fast and slow breaks resulting. Both teams attacking the goal immediately when they have the ball...and if you push the crease, you get popped. This was also the game where the Gait boys start warming to the outdoor game. So many great players on both teams.....Tiny Crawford, Gravante, Bardwell, Mike Guy, Arkison, Clark against Zulberti, Curry, Cavanaugh, Nelson, Mapes, and the Gait boys. And if you've never seen Ray Gilliam before....you're welcome. Some would argue that he was the best attackman in the game in 87....a year where Tim Goldstein and Brian Wood were out there....
