Fischer Introduces the SPX Flow WCB U3 Pump

Waukesha Cherry-Burrell an SPX FLOW brand announces its latest process technology, the Universal 3 Series positive displacement pump. This pump incorporates the best features of the Universal 1, Universal 2 and Universal twin screw pumps plus it has a front loading seal design. Top features of this pump include operating pressures up to 500 psi (34.5 bar), multiple seals options to fit a wide variety of processing requirements, shorter and larger diameter shafts that increase seal life and reduce overhung load, long sealing path between pump inlet and outlet producing low slip and high efficiency flows. In addition to these features this pump also boasts large fluid cavities plus large easy entry anti-cavitation ports which allows efficient pumping of high viscosity fluids, slurries or even fluids with large chunks and particulates. There are also no bearings in the fluids being pumped, no sliding or rolling contact and no rotor to rotor contact producing a maximum service life even under severe operating conditions.
