The Rubettes - Sugar Baby Love Reaction | Britain LOVED It… But What About America? 🇬🇧🇺🇸 Reaction

The Rubettes Sugar Baby Love Reaction. Can my Pet Eat this foor guide Link Today I'm reacting to The Rubettes – “Sugar Baby Love,” one of the most instantly recognisable British pop hits of the 1970s — and I don't think I was prepared for just HOW HIGH that voice was going to go! “Sugar Baby Love” became a huge hit in Britain, reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in 1974. It also crossed the Atlantic and reached the US Billboard Hot 100, although its American success was much more modest than the phenomenon it became back home. That extraordinary falsetto immediately grabbed my attention. I genuinely can't remember hearing many male singers reach notes like this. But beyond the voice, there's that unmistakable 1970s production, huge harmonies and ridiculously catchy melody. Did you grow up with “Sugar Baby Love”? And if you're watching from America, I'd especially like to know — how well remembered are The Rubettes in the US today? #TheRubettes #SugarBabyLove #70sMusic Topics covered in this reaction include The Rubettes, Sugar Baby Love, The Rubettes Sugar Baby Love, Sugar Baby Love reaction, The Rubettes reaction, 1974 music, 1970s British pop, glam rock, falsetto singers, high male vocals, British music, UK number one songs, Billboard Hot 100, 70s pop and classic music reactions.
