7 years later ... Can the iPhone 11 actually handle the latest software? I put iOS 27 on Apple's 2019 flagship to see how it runs today.
Everyone is fixated on the latest iPhone 18 Pro Max, but I wanted to see if older hardware still has life left. I took my 64GB iPhone 11 and installed the newest update to test its limits.
This isn't just about whether it boots up; I'm looking at real-world iphone 11 performance compared to newer devices. I also compared it against an iPad Pro running iPadOS 26 to see if Apple has truly optimized these older operating system generations for speed.
Subscribe for more deep dives into legacy hardware, and let me know in the comments if you are still rocking an older device.
