"Take Control" - Dark Ashtray Maze Version | Control Cover

A slower, darker tribute version of the song "Take Control", which plays during the incredible Ashtray Maze sequence in Remedy's 'CONTROL'. [Watch in 4k] [Best listened to with Headphones] So I think anyone who's played through Control, knows how amazing the Ashtray Maze sequence is in the game. I saw the trailers for the sequel game 'CONTROL Resonant' and was inspired to do a darker, moodier version. I'm a huge fan of Poets of the Fall, or as you may know them 'Old Gods of Asgard', and the original song is so dynamic, I had to really pull it apart to create something different stylistically but that still felt relevant to the game world. Also instead of using game footage like I have done in the past, I felt doing a full video would allow me to have some fun - there's no green screen here and everything you see was done with practical effects, and old school editing techniques, all filmed in my very tiny studio space. Random fact - the main vocals were actually a 1 take sing through when I was rehearsing, I liked them so much I decided not to re-record! As always this was all done by me and there's no autotune/melodyne used on the vocals.
