HL Premiere: comm - The Beautiful Day [95 OPEN TABS]

Following her unforgettable live performance at Refractor, Japanese artist comm now makes her first appearance on 95 Open Tabs with Synaptic Stroll, her long-awaited 2026 EP. Across four tracks, comm draws us into the depths of a cybernetic forest, somewhere beyond the limits of our known dimensions. Dense and distorted forms move through its depths, while drones stretch and bend the space around them. There is something both organic and mechanical at work, a psychedelic tension that keeps shifting between introspection and raw physical force. Her unmistakable sound design gives this strange world its own internal logic. Synaptic Stroll moves through experimentation and introspection, carefully playing with space, silence and movement. Bliss Bloom, Fragments of Memory, The Beautiful Day and Unbegun 05 unfold less like separate destinations than different states within the same journey, each revealing another layer of this elusive ecosystem. As the EP approaches its final stretch, the energy accumulated beneath the surface begins to break free. What had been lurking in the shadows gradually turns towards more fast dancefloor oriented: rhythms become more physical and movement more instinctive. A synaptic stroll through an imagined wilderness where nature, the subconscious and living matter merge into a single and unique entity.” Buy: https://95opentabs.bandcamp.com/album...
