Autumn Garden Still Harvesting. Successes and Mistakes.

I'm still getting harvests even with some failures and mistakes. You don't have to be experienced or green fingered to grow something. Just have a go. Self-reliance in all its avenues; frugal living, making do, gardening, writing books, creating online content and resources, and sometimes crafting is what we are about. I hope it will inspire you to find their own way to have that 'homesteading' life, no matter what house or flat (apartment) you live in and whether you have a garden or not. I also hope that sharing how we build resilience, financial security and resourcefulness will help you in your own self-sufficiency goals. Here at Blue Garden Cottage, Hubby and I grow, preserve, craft, make-do-and-mend, reduce, reuse, up-cycle and recycle. I write books and courses, and create blogs on UK suburban homesteading (part of our self-sufficiency lifestyle) and more.
