Deadliest Warrior Jack Sparrow (Pirate) vs Spartan (A Dream Match in 2009)

Hello and welcome back to my "Yearly Eras" series. Today, we’re looking at a battle between two warriors I always wanted to see clash on one of my favorite shows from 2009: Deadliest Warrior*. On one side, we have the pirate—a figure frequently portrayed on the big and small screens and an inspiration for everything from Johnny Depp movies to the "Buccaneer of the Seven Seas" who defeated the Knight. Facing him is the Spartan—a warrior immortalized in a film by the infamous Zack Snyder (which spawned the famous "Sparta Remix" meme) and who defeated the Ninja. This particular match-up was pretty lopsided—mostly because I really wanted to pull off the Pirate's "Fatality" move (and yes, the *Deadliest Warrior game is one of those titles that lacks a CPU vs. CPU mode, so I had to play it myself). So, what was 2009 like for me? It was a great year. Even though WWE was no longer airing on 52MX, it had moved to Canal 5 and Azteca 7. I also watched shows like DEA*, *Pawn Stars*, *Monster Island*, *Most Shocking*, and others. I played with toys—making them fight—and used Nerf guns to feel like a *Deadliest Warrior soldier; just typical stuff for a 7 or 8-year-old. That was also the year The Hangover and the anime Steins;Gate premiered (though I watched both much later). Anyway, I hope you enjoy this 8-minute video, heh heh. And remember: back in 2009, that garbage known as the "D00mverse" didn't exist yet. PS Here a Spartan for MUGEN, because, the Spartan have a Rematch with Jack Sparrow in MUGEN: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4a9s2i...
