Horn Sound for Over a Minute - CSX L848 in Athens with 5121, 69

CSX L848 is northbound out of the siding in Athens, Alabama at Pryor Street, after meeting I025 at Athens Siding. There is a lot of horn blowing in Athens. This train is blowing for Lee, South, Green, Washington, Market, Hobbs and Bryan Streets before reaching Pryor Street. These crossings are each one block apart. McClellan Street is two blocks north of Pryor Street, The defect detector axle count was 288. Light drizzle is all that's left of Hurricane I. (After watching the weather people struggle with pronouncing Isaias I decided Hurricane I is simpler.) The CSX locomotives are CW44AH 5121 and AC44CW 69. October 10, 2026 ©2026 Bryan Turner
