Our Family Needed This… | Dana Point Beach Vacation Vlog Our annual family getaway looked a little different this year! Instead of heading to the mountains or desert, we got the opportunity to spend a few days together by the beach in Dana Point, California. 🌊 A longtime family friend, Billy, blessed us with the opportunity to stay at his beach house near Doheny Beach, and it ended up being exactly what our family needed. This vlog is really just us being us. 😂 A house tour, breakfast with the kids, beach days, body surfing, watching the surfers at Doheny, getting WAY too sunburned because apparently we forgot how sunscreen works, tacos and BBQ at Auntie Candace’s, and a whole lot of family chaos in between. Being back in Dana Point also brought up a lot of childhood memories for me. There’s something about being near the ocean that slows everything down and reminds you how much the simple stuff matters. Nothing extravagant. Just good food, the beach, our kids, extended family, plenty of laughs, and being grateful for the time we get together.
