Why do some women suddenly get loud, aggressive, obnoxious, or overly performative when they’re around a woman they feel jealous and insecure around Sometimes the energy changes before anyone even says a word. The voice gets louder. The attitude gets sharper. The unnecessary comments start. Suddenly, they need everyone to hear them, notice them, validate them, or pay attention to what they’re doing. And while they may think their behavior makes them look powerful, confident, or intimidating, loud behavior doesn’t automatically equal confidence. In this video, we’re talking about jealousy, envy, insecurity, female competition, intimidation, attention-seeking behavior, and the ways insecurity can sometimes show up in social interactions between women. Some people become louder when they feel uncomfortable. Some become overly aggressive when they feel challenged. Some start performing for an audience because they want attention. Some use attitude, sarcasm, or unnecessary comments to establish dominance. Some try to make another woman uncomfortable because they don’t feel comfortable within themselves. But here’s the difference: YOU DON’T HAVE TO MATCH THEIR ENERGY. You don’t have to get louder because they’re loud. You don’t have to become aggressive because they’re aggressive. You don’t have to compete because they want competition. You don’t have to prove that you’re confident. And you definitely don’t have to allow someone else’s behavior to pull you out of your peace. There is a certain kind of power in being able to remain calm, composed, classy, private, and completely unbothered while someone else is desperately trying to create a reaction. This is about quiet confidence. It’s about knowing who you are without needing to overpower anyone else in the room. Because real confidence doesn’t require a performance. You can walk into a room without competing. You can look good without seeking validation. You can be successful without announcing everything you’re doing. You can be feminine without being submissive. You can be quiet without being intimidated. And you can refuse to participate in unnecessary drama without explaining yourself. Sometimes the most powerful response is no response at all. If someone’s behavior becomes loud, aggressive, disrespectful, or uncomfortable around you, pay attention to the behavior—but don’t automatically assume you know their motives. Jealousy and insecurity can be possibilities, but there can be many reasons someone behaves that way. The goal is not to diagnose somebody. The goal is to recognize when an interaction is becoming unhealthy and decide that you’re not participating. You protect your peace. You maintain your composure. You keep your boundaries. You mind your business. And you keep moving. You don't have to get loud to be heard. You don't have to be aggressive to be powerful. You don't have to compete to know your worth. You don't have to react to prove you're confident.
