How to Make a Frog Out of Clay - Slip Trailing Toad (step-by-step tutorial)

In this detailed, step-by-step pottery lesson, I’ll show you how I sculpt a tiny frog (or technically, a tiny toad) using ceramic slip on a plaster bat. 🐸 You’ll see how I slowly build up the toad’s form, shape its features, add the tiny details, and attach it to a clay pumpkin I had already made. This little sculpture is seriously tiny, by using slip, I can create the details and accurately proportioned anatomy of this toad. This is the first of many pottery lessons I’ll be sharing here!
