In it, he spoke about how we often wear the same clothes day in and day out, without giving much thought to what we are actually covering ourselves with. Just as we would not want to wear dirty or ripped clothing, we should not allow ourselves to be covered in the filthy rags of sin. Instead, we should put on the righteousness of Christ, which is like a clean and white garment. If we are to live holy lives, we must first change our garments. We cannot continue to wear the same old sinful clothes and expect things to be different. We must put off the old man and put on the new. We must be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
