In this lab, we secure network access using Security Group rules, test allowed vs. blocked traffic, then enable VPC Flow Logs and analyze accepted/rejected traffic using CloudWatch for a complete audit trail.
🔹 What you'll learn:
Configuring security group rules for controlled network access
Testing allowed and blocked traffic against those rules
Enabling VPC Flow Logs on your VPC/subnet/network interface
Sending flow log data to CloudWatch Logs
Analyzing accepted vs. rejected traffic for auditing and troubleshooting
This is Lab 08 in the Cloud Networking Lab Series, covering practical security and observability concepts across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
