🇹🇭 Sam Roi Yot Beach | หาดสามร้อยยอด | Prachuap Khiri Khan

Sam Roi Yot Beach is a long, wide, and remarkably scenic stretch of coastline in Prachuap Khiri Khan, lined with resorts, restaurants, and small local businesses. I've visited Sam Roi Yot many times over the years, and one thing that has always impressed me is how peaceful it remains. Despite its beautiful scenery and excellent location, I've never experienced the excessive tourist crowds found at many of Thailand's more famous beaches. The beach itself is beautiful, with clear water, soft sand, and rows of pine trees providing shade along parts of the shoreline. The mountains of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park create an impressive backdrop, adding even more character to the landscape. A straight coastal road runs between the beach and the accommodation area, with plenty of local restaurants, small shops, and stalls selling dried seafood and souvenirs. Prices are generally very reasonable, making it easy to stop for a meal, pick up some local seafood, or browse the shops without spending much. Accommodation is also surprisingly affordable. There are plenty of small resorts and guesthouses, with rooms available for just a few hundred baht, while local families and villagers make a living through fishing, restaurants, and providing accommodation and services to visitors. During one of my stays, I chose Dolphin Bay Resort, which I found to be a very pleasant place to stay.
