Dulcimer - End of Day - Mountain Dulcimer - Washburn Rover series Minstrel

This is my Washburn Rover series Minstrel. It's a mountain dulcimer in strumstick fashion, played like a guitar. It is diatonic, tuned DAD, with three strings. It's a lot of fun to play! I was at a music gathering recently with friends, and improvised a tune on this instrument. I was happy with the tune, so I developed it into "End of Day", a kind of lullaby...imagine everyone finished with the "doings" of the day, sitting on the porch to slow down and rest, and listen to the insects singing as the cool air rises ✨ Joining me on the couch is Dexter 🐈 and next to me is my 1980's Warren May dulcimer.
