Solo Flawless Dungeon Roguelike Challenge | Episode 3: Prophecy

Starting with only common gear, I must Solo Flawless every dungeon while building my arsenal from whatever loot I earn along the way. This is an 11 part series releasing daily from August 1 through August 11. The rules are simple: Start with only common gear in The Shattered Throne. Use any weapons or armor earned from the dungeons. Any subclass, aspects, fragments, and artifact perks are allowed. Every dungeon must be completed Solo Flawless before moving on. If I fail a dungeon, only that dungeon resets. Any loot from the failed run must be deleted. Any exotic engrams earned during a run must be decrypted randomly at the Tower after the run is complete. I’ll show my inventory at the beginning and end of every episode. This is a challenge I’ve always wanted to complete because roguelikes are one of my favorite game genres. The Binding of Isaac is one of my all time favorite games and I wanted to bring that style of progression into Destiny. Episode Summary: This dungeon went extremely well. I got boots after the first encounter, which gives me access to surge mods. I made it a priority to grab the wasteland secret chest, and it gave me the Judgement hand cannon. After the second encounter, I pick up A Sudden Death shotgun, filling out all three of my weapon slots with legendary weapons. I stopped at the secret chest on rainbow road as well and got a solid roll on the Adjudicator SMG. The final encounter didn’t drop anything useful, but I’m almost fully geared up now! The only piece of common gear I have left is the chest piece.
