The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde | Full Play | Bez Uprzedzeń Theatre

Oscar Wilde’s "The Importance of Being Earnest" is one of the most famous comedies of manners in English drama — a sharp, playful story about identity, love, social expectations, double lives and the absurdity of trying to appear “proper.” This production was created as part of the acting programme at Bez Uprzedzeń Acting Studio in Kraków. Our students spend the first part of their training working with professional acting techniques, physical and vocal training, improvisation, études and ensemble work. The second stage is dedicated to the creation of a full theatre production: text analysis, character development, relationships, stage presence and working together as an ensemble. The performance is presented in English.
