Star Citizen’s New Planets Are Less Demanding Than You Think | Genesis and Starchitect Testing

After over 20 hours across four Genesis tests, I’m struggling to go back to live Star Citizen. This latest test brought new Starchitect locations, moisture farms, more biomes, working missions and NPCs that repeatedly kicked my ass. We also tested quasi-dynamic planetary server meshing, with three servers sharing the work on Nyx 1. In this video I’ll go through what changed and what happened when I went exploring, from running deliveries in a Skylark to sneaking into a heavily defended facility and making the terrible decision to walk six kilometres through a swamp.
